Services

Steve & Mary Piper owners of Piper's Fine Foods, the Valley Cafe, and the Washington Street Emporium, work hard  every day to provide you, our customer,  with the best service and products available.  We may operate small businesses, but we think big when it comes to product offerings.  Our goal is to offer the best products we can at a fair price, and then provide  great service that big stores gave up on long ago.  At Piper's Fine Foods our meat is cut fresh in the store not trucked in two weeks after being packaged.   Our Sausage ( Potato, German, Jalapeno and Breakfast)  brings us customers from far and wide.  At the Valley Cafe we provide home cooked meals with great service.  We are well known for our Prime Rib and Juicy Steaks at a very fair price.  We provide Catering and can serve private parties.    The Washington Street Emporium provides folks with a great choice of gift  ideas and can also  help you decorate your own home with really neat seasonal items.

  •                 SAUSAGE, SAUSAGE, SAUSAGE, SAUSAGE,

WE MAKE SAUSAGE.  Let's start with Swedish Potato Sausage.  Usually eaten for the Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter Holidays,  it is a mild but very tasty sausage made with Beef, Pork, Potatoes, Onions, Salt and Pepper, ground and mixed into a natural hog casing.  It can be boiled or baked in water.  Some like to brown it a bit after boiling.  Our German Sausage is different from others in that it is fresh not smoked.  Pork and selected spices in a casing makes a great product and a delicious meal or sandwich.  Our Jalapeno Sausage is not hot but it will wake you up.  Pork, mixed with a bag full of spices, is stuffed into the same casing as our other sausages.  It is great on the BBQ grill.  Our Breakfast Sausage is great as a patty but maybe even better made with gravy over biscuits.  Stop in today and see which ones are available and give them a try.
  •                                                      Valley Cafe

The Valley Cafe can cater events large or small.  Give us a call and we can help you plan your event.  We can also serve your private party of 30 or more at the cafe.  The third Saturday of the month we host a Biker's Breakfast in conjunction with the Kansas Motorcycle Museum located next door to us.  A buffet for only $6.95 is served not only to bikers but to anyone with a appetite for good food.  We are open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday Nights of the month from 5:30 till 7:30 when we grill steaks, serve delicious Prime Rib and offer a Seafood Platter that is a real hit.  On Sundays we offer four lunch specials that attract people from surrounding communities as well as hometown customers.  They come complete with dessert  and drink for only $6.95.
